Feb 23 - Herding Instinct Test

Peso and Phoenix had the opportunity to go herding at Have Ewe Herd farm in Innisfil, ON Saturday.

Phoenix took a minute to get over the poop eating but once she caught on that she could actually make the sheep move, she was hooked! She came home Herding Instinct Certified (HIC) and will be taking herding lessons. The evaluator was quite happy with her and said she had an awesome temperment, was quite biddable and had good instinct. Good job Phe Phe!!


Peso however would not be shown up by his little red sister and also did awesome!! He went right to work, balanced and actually fetched the sheep. Peso also came home Herding Instinct Certified (HIC).

Feb 8, 9 & 10 - Acton Agility & Sharkfebst

The OTEA dogs had a busy and fun weekend of dog sports. Peso headed to Acton Agility's AAC trial on Friday & Sunday. He did great and came away with a 2 Masters Jumper Q's and a Masters Gamble Q. He had some other really great runs over the 2 days, he is really proving to be an amazing agility dog.

On Saturday, Baxter headed to Sharkfebst which is a NAFA flyball tournament held in Richmond Hill. He got the chance to be a part of his new flyball team running warm ups. He did both recalls and some box work throughout the day, and did a good job. Phoenix and Lola came out to cheer Baxter on and see the new game they plan to play :)

Zipper

Over the Edge Agility is pleased to announce a new member to the group. Zipper is a 9 week old red & white border collie who has taken over Martin, Jackie and Ginger's home. Zipper will be training in agility, disc dog and flyball with Over the Edge Agility. Congrats on your new addition Martin & Jackie!
